Design, press, print and create!
Fun, hands-on workshop where children design their own foam printing blocks, experiment with colour and pattern and create a collection of prints to take home.

Markfield Park Cafe: Kids Pottery Workshop "Around The World With Peace and Love"

A pottery class for children aged 5 – 12 working with terracotta and coloured slips to handbuild symbols from cultures around the globe symbolising peace and love. From the Chinese ying yang, to the North African “khamsa” – or hand of Fatima, to the Turkish “nazar” – or the evil eye, children will be encouraged to explore these beautiful, ancient symbols through their own creative interpretation of them in clay.
This is a free class, however parents can choose to have their child’s piece glazed and fired for a fixed sum of £5 per piece. Pieces will be available for collection 2 weeks after the class, with parents needing to collect or arrange collection from the pottery studio on Markfield rd. If parents do not want to pay the £5, they can take the piece with them to air dry at home, however as this work is meant to be glazed and fired it will be fragile and the colours will be dim.

Costas Kazantzis is a creative technologist and researcher exploring the transformative potential of game engines, 3D design, and extended reality (XR) in fashion and contemporary art. As Lead Creative Technologist at London College of Fashion’s Fashion Innovation Agency, he develops pioneering projects at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling—including Reskinning Reality, a volumetric capture and digital fashion project redefining how garments are simulated, presented, and experienced in real time. His practice challenges conventional gaming mechanics while centring queer narratives, community building, and cultural preservation through immersive platforms. Currently a PhD candidate at UAL’s Creative Computing Institute, Costas’ work bridges industry and research, shaping future directions in digital fashion and participatory storytelling.

Carola Dixon is an AI Creative Director and Brand Innovator who helps brands harness AI to expand their creative possibilities. She designs immersive installations, creates personalised campaigns with generative AI, and bridges digital and physical worlds through 3D modelling and virtual try-ons, using technology to advance sustainability and drive growth.
Over the past three years, she has partnered with industry leaders including Vogue, Karl Lagerfeld, the Met Gala, and Paper Magazine to create innovative experiences powered by emerging technologies.
Carola champions AI as a force for good, advocating for augmentation over automation, protection of human IP, and up-skilling creative professionals. She holds a BA from Columbia University and an MSc in AI for Creative Industries from UAL.Le

Filmmaker Q&A with Film Tottenham

Film Tottenham will lead a Q&A with a panel of filmmakers to celebrate their journey of making independent short films. From finding funding to getting their short film out into film festival landscape, the talk will be educational to anybody who is interested in the independent filmmaking process.
Tottenham is a creative hub for filmmakers and film in Tottenham. It is a member of BFI Film Audience Network and has screened over 70 short films in Tottenham.
