Children who have a regular yoga practice learn to develop stronger awareness and are more in touch with their physical and emotional well-being.
Focusing on relaxation, breath work and creative mindfulness techniques through fun story led physical poses (asanas) teaches children to self soothe and manage emotions while building confidence and a sense of presence and purpose in an often busy world. Yoga poses improve strength, posture and flexibility and helps with coordination and balance.
Martha has practiced Hatha and Vinyasa flow yoga for over 20 years and qualified as a specialist children’s yoga instructor in 2020. Her classes run every Sunday morning at the Hub in Lordship Rec, Tottenham as well as supporting regular community events around the UK.
Immerse yourself in a world of creativity and visit the studios of over 50 working artists in south Tottenham. Join us for an unmissable weekend of art, culture, and fun! Kids can also join in with a butterfly trail around the studios.

Gaunson House car park will present Art in The Yard with outdoor art installations, murals, live art, live music, children craft, face painting by Mangozookidz, a bar and food stalls.

Closed to traffic for the duration of the festival, Markfield Road itself will be hosting a craft watercoloring workshops, a bar, food stalls, DJs, seating and a bouncy castle.
Mycelium is a sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable material with a wide range of potential applications – from building materials to fashion and design. It is also strong, lightweight, and mouldable, making it a viable alternative to traditional materials.
In this workshop you’ll learn about the amazing properties and potential for mycelium in architecture, design and art. You’ll also have a chance to make your own mould and cast an object out of mycelium composite to take home and grow yourself!

A discussion with artists and experts specialising in using and processing traditional analogue techniques on why we today see the revival of analogue film within creative practises and what the analogue medium’s future hold, the sustainability of film versus digital and the longevity of film. What is the enduring appeal of tactile, costly and flawed format in the face of ubiquitous digital recording techniques and platforms.
