A celebration of creatives through art, music & discussion

Markfield Road Festival is an annual free festival celebrating creatives through art, music and discussion which launched in September 2022. Based in South Tottenham, London, the three-day festival is organised by Gaunson Creative Studios. In collaboration with The Cove, Ten87, Markfield Beam Engine & Museum, Unit 3 and Ten to One Bar.

Festival activities include Gaunson Creative Open Studios (which have been running for over 20 years), Art In The Yard, live music & performance, panel discussions on music, art & creativity, film screenings, food stalls & bars, a carnival workshop and procession with Earlsmead Primary School, children’s activities and more.

2024 Highlights

🔥 6,500 people attended the festival across the 3 days, Friday – Sunday

🔥 We provided a platform for over 175 artists, creatives and musicians

🔥 A total of 44 events ran during the festival weekend

🔥 We delivered 7 free creative panel talks

🔥 14 free workshops to over 250 participants including children’s craft, yoga, life drawing, well-being and creative sound

🔥 We delivered 4 additional workshops to 4 local schools, with 220 children taking part

🔥 Staffed the festival with locals from Haringey

We doubled our number of guests since our launch event last year and across the 3 days, Friday – Sunday, we saw 5000 people attend our event!
We provided a platform for over 150 artists, creatives and musicians
We delivered 6 free creative panel talks
8 free workshops to over 250 participants including children’s craft, kids yoga, life drawing, creative schools workshops and a creative sound workshop
