This year Markfield Road Festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary on 11-13 September 2026. First launched in 2022, our annual free festival celebrates creatives through art, music and discussion. Based in South Tottenham, London, the three-day festival is organised by Gaunson Creative Studios.
Markfield Road Festival is open to all ages, showcasing and supporting a diverse range of creatvity from the local area and beyond. In 2025, we saw over 7,800 attendees across all venues Friday to Sunday almost quadrupaling our numbers since we first launched. The festival showcased the work of more than 183 local artists and creatives across 8 venues, delivering 63 events. Over 320 participants took part in 15 free workshops, and supported local artists through artwork sales and commissions. As part of the Open House Festival, the event contributed to the local circular economy, with 74% of staff being local residents and all paid the London Living Wage.
Festival activities include Gaunson Creative Open Studios (which have been running for over 25 years), Art In The Yard, live music & performance, panel discussions on music, art & creativity, film screenings, food stalls & bars, a carnival workshop and procession with local children, children’s activities and more.
