Children who have a regular yoga practice learn to develop stronger awareness and are more in touch with their physical and emotional well-being.

Focusing on relaxation, breath work and creative mindfulness techniques through fun story led physical poses (asanas) teaches children to self soothe and manage emotions while building confidence and a sense of presence and purpose in an often busy world. Yoga poses improve strength, posture and flexibility and helps with coordination and balance.

Martha has practiced Hatha and Vinyasa flow yoga for over 20 years and qualified as a specialist children’s yoga instructor in 2020.  Her classes run every Sunday morning at the Hub in Lordship Rec, Tottenham as well as supporting regular community events around the UK.
